Ladygate Bowls Club is as the name suggests a lawn bowls club, to which new bowling or social members are always welcome.
Ladygate BC prides itself as being a thriving club with something for bowlers of all abilities from beginner and recreational players to County bowlers.
There are Wednesday afternoon social sessions and Friday evening club nights for those that enjoy a more fun, relaxed game, weekend & mid week friendly matches against other clubs, mixed leagues and leagues for the men and ladies separately – so plenty to choose from.
Ladygate is affiliated to Bowls England, Middlesex Bowling Association, Hillingdon & District, Harrow and District, Chiltern & Thames and L&SCBA, and many of our members enjoy taking part in the competitions run by these Associations.
The club enjoys much success with bowlers regularly in the finals of these competitions, and we have had more than our fair share of players, both ladies and gents, representing Middlesex at the National Championships.
If you are new to the game and would like to give bowls a try we have a qualified coach, Bob Syme, who can get you started, and we can provide all the equipment.
