Sunday 12th April – Pre-Season Get Together
Join us at lunchtime while the bar is open as we start looking ahead to the new season.
This will be an opportunity to collect your fixture books, competition entry forms, the Captain’s welcome letter, and other important information for the year ahead.
You can also:
- Add your name for the Markers Course on 2nd May (you asked, we delivered!).
- Sign up for the Chiltern and Thames squads.
- Register for early drives and upcoming fixtures.
- Check the Tea Rota and see where you might be able to help support the club during the season.
Most importantly, it will be a chance to catch up with members we haven’t seen over the winter months and to warmly welcome new members to our club family.
Sunday 26th April – Opening Day Drive

The afternoon will include:
- A pre-game Spider
- Charity raffle during the afternoon
- Drive entry: £2
- Post-match buffet: £5
The buffet will be kindly supplied and organised by Ann and Mandy (apparently they’re not trusting Richie and me again!).
Dress code: Mufti
It promises to be a fun and sociable afternoon, and a great way to kick off another fantastic season of bowls. We hope to see you there!
